Servant Letter
Hello and welcome to Proclaim Shirts!
“Proclaim Shirts” was born on November 14, 2020 in the evening when I was working alone on my laptop wanting to find a new project to take my mind off all the challenges I was facing at the time in my life. As a Christian, I believe Proclaim Shirts was already designed and created by God, and it was my job to listen and get out of the way not interfering, but allow His plan to be revealed, and for me to follow and trust His instructions with patience. When I discovered verse Mark 16:15 in the Gospel, I knew God was speaking to me, and this was the path God wanted me on.
Christian apparel today is mostly focused on fashion, vanity, and appearance with fancy text, imagery, illustrated artwork, and routine cliches. God placed it on my heart to be different, and go back to the basics of plain, simple, and unleavened bible verse shirts without imagery and distraction from the root of the scripture. God made it clear to me: the one and only purpose of the Proclaim Shirt is to share the Word of God in public to the lost, unsaved, and non-believers. The word and text printed on each Proclaim Shirt originates directly from bible scripture, sharing the message of hope, love, salvation, prophecy, forewarnings, and much more through God’s sixty-six books of the bible.
Servant LetterThe Power of the Bible
It amazes me how the power of one word delivered by God in the Bible can deliver a life-saving message to a passerby, or is seen by an unexpected glimpse, catching an eye for the briefest moment, changing a life forever. This reminds me of the true story of the sick woman who believed, and forced her way into the crowd to touch the fringe of Jesus’ garment, and was instantly healed, Matthew 9:20-22. The power of God’s Word alone is life-saving, and we are all called upon by Christ to GO! out and proclaim the Gospel to our families, friends, co-workers, neighbors, strangers, and around the world.
Servant LetterWitnessing the Word of God
Most Christians are nervous, shy, or have a fear of sharing the Gospel in public. Think about this… how many of us would get up on a park bench, hold our bible up, and start speaking out loud to passerby’s about Heaven, Salvation, and Jesus Christ? Not many. Wearing a Proclaim Shirt makes it far more easy and direct to share the Word of God in public, wearing it on our chest and backside like “armor” wherever we go. Wear a Bible Verse Shirt by Proclaim Shirts, and know with cofidence that God is busy at work on the people that read the front or backside of your Proclaim Shirt: striking curiosity, sparking a question, reviving hope, refreshing a memory, convicting the conscious, reinforcing obedience, or just nudging back to God. I promise you… wear a Proclaim Shirt, and God will do His work. Amen!
Servant LetterHelping Homeless People
Being homeless myself, God lead me to make Proclaim Shirts a ministry that helps homeless people. A minimum of 10% is taken (not added) from each shirt sold, and is given to a different homeless project or homeless ministry in the United States at the end of each month. This is the greatest joy in giving to the homeless person, spreading the Gospel, and helping each individual recover off the streets in our cities. Homelessness in the United States is getting worse by the day, and we must not ignore this mission, but instead fight and go to work in Christ, helping the lost, people in despair, and near-death population that exists all around us. I know from being homeless myself, the only cure for homelessness is one-on-one unconditional love for one homeless person at a time.
